We will conduct a short call by phone or Zoom with you to check if you are eligible to participate. These are the criteria:

• Youth aged 15-25

• All genders

• Can have a conversation in English or French

• Currently reside in Canada

We will then email you link to a consent form and an intake survey with basic demographic questions.

After receiving your signed consent form, we will schedule your 30-60 minute interview (in person, by Zoom, or phone). We will share a copy of the interview questions with you ahead of time.

We will send you honoraria thanking you for your participation. If you complete the demographic survey, you will receive $1. If you partially complete an interview, you will receive $25. If you fully complete an interview, you will receive $50. The payment will be sent as an electronic gift card or e-transfer to your email.

If you wish to stay involved in the study, you can review a written copy of your interview (transcript) or join our Phase 2 design study, where we will turn the interviews into “youth stories.”
